Limitations...

So, I found my new limitations.

I lifted some boxes (that really were not heavy) and pulled some muscles in my stomach. Woops. Just so everyone knows... no one was around and where they were not heavy I figured I could do it. There are pregnant women who run marathons! Why wouldn't I be able to lift a box? So, after spending some time in Labor and Delivery (I haven't ever been pregnant before so I don't know what is "normal" or not) the doctor's orders were to stop lifting boxes. Too bad he didn't say that it was a requirement for me to receive back massages and foot massages every day. :) As he was walking out of the room he did ask if I needed narcotics... um... YES!!! BUT I did use some self-discipline and said no. (It was really hard). :) Who doesn't like narcotics to make you happy? I am just kidding... kinda. I love getting use to this new pregnant body of mine.

On another note, the baby is still kicking and punching away. Can I just say, I love every second of it?

3 things to be excited about...

1. Matt and I are building a home and have begun the process of choosing out colors. Wish me luck!
2. Matt got a 90 on his Integrated Science final. Which he was sure he would fail. Ha... yea right. He is so smart. I love him for it.
3. I am now feeling the baby move every day. I love it. It seems like today I looked in the mirror and I was HUGE! I am sure he grew 5 inches over night! Okay maybe not that much. Matt gets a kick seeing my stomach becoming enormous. I am not sure whether to smile and laugh or to simply start weeping. I saw a girl today that is 8 months a long. I am 6 months along... and we had about the same size of stomach. I am nervous to what these next months have to hold. I am scared! Is my belly going to pop? Wish me luck on that too.

St. George Trip

Matt and I spent the weekend in St. George. We left last Wednesday and came back yesterday. We wish we could have stayed longer. It was a quick trip. We realized on our way home that we didn't take ANY pictures. So sad!! BUT I thought I would at least write some highlights from our trip...

1. Meeting CJ and Robin's baby, Jaysa. She is 9 months and SUCH a good baby!! She is adorable taboot. Love her.

2. Staying with CJ and Robin. It was so wonderful to spend time with them. We haven't seen them since we got married... so over a year ago. We are going to make an effort to make sure we see each other more often! We are so blessed with such great friends. We tried to convince them to move up to Idaho Falls... but then when they found out how cold it was moving here was out of the picture. I don't blame them.

3. Seeing Jason and Bree getting sealed. Bree looked beautiful.

4. Seeing family. My aunts and uncles are REALLY good about going to everyone's weddings. It was nice seeing them... even for the short amount of time we had.

5. Staying up until 3 or 4 every night with CJ and Robin, talking and having a good time. Time flies when you are having fun!

6. Going shopping with Robin at stores AND garage sales. (Of course! It is Robin!)

7. Having a girls night while the boys had a bachelor party.

8. Enjoying the beautiful weather in St. George. And the beautiful scenery.

9. Being introduced to Glee. Thanks CJ and Robin. :)

10. Relaxing!

To say the least, we had a wonderful time. Too bad we don't have pictures of the wonderful time. We had our camera though... sometimes I wish a photographer could just follow us around. Or would that be stalking. :)

It's a Boy!

We can't remember but we don't think that we told... or blogged about it but at 15 weeks we found out we are having a boy! Fun! When we found out, Matt about started to dance at the appointment. Now, we need to figure out boy names.... any suggestions?

Movement

Today was the first day I could feel the baby move. There have been a couple times before where I wasn't sure if it was the baby or gas bubbles or something but tonight it was very distinct 2 little movements. It kind of surprised me. I love being pregnant!

Baby Bump - 18 weeks

Here is a picture of my baby bump. People are starting to make comments about me being pregnant. Yay! :) So fun. I am feeling WONDERFUL. I have more energy now than I did before I was pregnant. I love it. I am starving all the time... which is fine... except in the middle of the night. :) I better get use to that!

Matt is doing great too... I don't know as wonderful as me :) He is diligently working on school and working full time. I don't think he has as much energy as me. BUT at least now I am helping with cleaning and cooking. Before it was all him.
